Fest plans and custom themes

Who these terms are for

These terms apply to universities and organizers who pay for a fest plan or a custom theme on Festrops. They sit alongside the terms that apply to everyone using Festrops.

Setting up is free

You can create a fest, build its page, invite staff and change your settings without paying. You pay when you choose the sports your fest will run; the sports, with their forms, rules and fees, are added once your plan is paid.

Your fest plan

A plan is a one-time payment for one fest. It is not a subscription and doesn't renew.

Each sport is priced by whether Festrops scores it live. Your plan costs the higher of the base price and your sports added up, as shown on the pricing page and before you pay.

Running the same sport more than once, such as men's and women's, counts as a sport each time. A fest can run up to 25 sports.

You can add sports to your plan at any time and pay only the difference. Sports you've paid for stay in your plan.

Requesting a sport

If a sport you run isn't listed, request it with the rules you prefer. Someone from our team will contact you within 12 to 24 hours to talk through setting it up.

Custom themes

A custom theme is a page design our team makes by hand for your fest, based on what you share with us: your existing pages, colours, logos and imagery. You confirm that you have the right to share that material with us for this purpose.

We set the theme up and publish it on your fest's Festrops page.

Who owns what in a custom theme

Your name, logos, imagery and content remain yours, and we use them only for your fest.

The complete design we make for you, as a whole page or theme, is made for your fest and we won't offer it to anyone else.

We may reuse individual components of a custom theme, such as layout blocks, interface elements and patterns, in future Festrops templates. We will never reuse your complete design, page or theme, and never your logos, imagery or content.

Payments

Prices are in Indian rupees. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; Festrops does not see or store your card or bank details.
